Finding the Right Payments Integration Partner – Ep1

North American Bancard and Vend join us to discuss best practices that every software developer can use to help find the right payment integration partner.

business partnership

If, as a software developer, you want to accept payments within application, you have a few options. Building payment functionality in house, in today’s day and age of heightened security, doesn’t make sense for most developers as it’s time and cost-prohibitive. The alternative is partnering with payment companies who’ve invested in the resources and technologies to offer the payment piece as an integration. The trouble for many developers is evaluating potential partners and selecting the best one for their software and customers.

To help get to the bottom of this dilemma, we’ve got two guests on the podcast today. First, we’re going to speak with Pat Ward from North American Bancard. Pat’s going to share some best practices every software developer can use to help find the right payment integration partner. Then we’re going to speak with Jake West, Director, Business Development, from software company Vend. Jake’s going to share firsthand experiences of their recent payment integration.
